England -1 (-170), 1*

I expect England to do what they do against inferior opponents in these competitions. Get an early lead and coast to a victory. I considered under 2.5, but there’s certainly a chance that England looks to tack a couple on for goal differential. Or they just overmatch Iran and win 3-0. I also considered England to have a clean sheet, but the juice is even higher then betting them -1. You never know if Iran gets a penalty shot. We saw Ecuador get two today.

Speaking of that game, this is the first time the host country lost their opening match in World Cup history. I thought that was a strong trend to play, but it backfired this time. Once Qatar failed at bribing the refs, the writing was on the wall lol.

Senegal/Netherlands over 2.5 (+135), 1*

I’m taking a contrarian over here. The juice has moved in favor of the under, but under 2.5 was heavily juiced in the England game too. I already bet USA/Wales BTTS. I don’t think I will have another bet on that game. Good luck.

Switzerland ML (-135), 1*

Levandowski missing that penalty shot really hurt. Mexico was the better team, but that’s a layup for Levandowski. Small play for me on Switzerland. I feel like they are the better team, but Cameroon isn’t going to be a pushover like we have seen from a few of these teams in their opening round match.

I'm going to add at least one bet tomorrow. I have nothing on the Japan game. Costa Rica looked as bad as humanly possible against Spain. I'm not laying -200 with Japan, but I want nothing to do with Costa Rica until I see them resemble a team who can win a soccer match. I'm considering backing Canada, I need to decide what the best way is to do that. I also want to bet Germany, as they really need to win this match. If they draw with Spain and Japan defeats Costa Rica, all Spain will need to do is draw with the Japanese to advance. It won't matter how many goals Germany scores on Costa Rica because they will only have 4 points with a draw and a win. Spain would have five points by drawing their last two.

I don't bet soccer nearly as much as the four major sports and college football/basketball, but I still follow the sport. I am off to a good start and I don't want to toss that away. I really think I can turn a nice profit over the next few weeks if I stick to the plan. I will update tomorrow once I make some final decisions.

Good start with the under coming through. If I can hit one of these underdogs, it will be another successful day. GL!

Ecuador/Senegal Draw (+220), 1*
England to win in a shutout (+115), 1*
USA ML (+100), 2*

First bad day of the tournament. I feel like the USA game could be high scoring. Iran needs at least a draw and the US needs a win. If USA breaks through, Iran will have to open things up. That could lead to them scoring a goal and/or will lead to some good counter attack opportunities for the United States once Iran is forced to be more offensive. On the flip side, Iran is happy with a 0-0 draw. So I think that will be their game plan. Be defensive and pick their spots on offense until they have to open it up. I just don’t think they are going to succeed. And once the floodgates open, they could really open. I might dabble with an alt. over of 3.5 at a nice price. Or both teams to score. I’ll update tomorrow if necessary. Hope our country takes care of business!

Denmark -1 (-125), 1*
Argentina to win in a shutout/to nil (+100), 1*
Mexico/Saudi Arabia under 2.5 (-106), 2*

Mexico is one of the worst teams in the tournament. They spend more time rolling around on the ground then they do generating offense. I think this game goes similarly to the USA game. Someone goes up 1-0 and sits on it. Especially if that team is Saudi Arabia.

Tough luck these last 2 days, but get 'em tomorrow!

My bad, lol, I wasn't reading with enough attention, I thought that after yesterday you went 0-3, today you had only the Iran/USA over play.

I can't believe Mexico gave up that goal in the 95th minute. What a back breaker for them and everyone with the under.
